Implants
Due to dental implantology, it is possible to replace missing teeth without having to strip adjacent teeth, as is the case with prosthetic bridges. Implants make it possible to place fixed (unremovable) dentures in places in which there has been extensive tooth loss, thus making it unnecessary for patients to wear removable dental prostheses. Implant surgeries are frequently accompanied by procedures aimed at preparing the bone base for implant insertion. They often precede the actual implantation, while their type and progression depends on a given clinical case.
