Endodontics

Endodontics is a branch of conservative dentistry concerned with diagnosing and curing diseases of the pulp and the tissues surrounding root ends. It helps save teeth that would otherwise be singled out for extraction. At the same time, root canal therapy belongs to one of the most difficult procedures in dentistry. As a consequence, not only does it demand vast knowledge and long-standing clinical expertise, but also the use of state-of-the-art tools and materials.

We follow the single-visit principle, both the most effective and the most modern type of endodontic treatment. It is carried out with the aid of a surgical microscope, which allows locating, mechanically processing, disinfecting and completely filling root canal openings (using the warm gutta-percha vertical condensation method). Administering an endodontic treatment in a relentless manner does not only guarantee the preservation of one’s tooth, but is also far less costly than implant or prosthetic treatment in the event of its removal.

Teeth that undergo endodontic therapy are often considerably weakened and susceptible to mechanical injuries. We therefore offer all available methods of dental restoration, which guarantee teeth’s long-term durability.
